Having a yard lets you light things on fire as you please. My husband painted this sweet message for me one Summer night…

My best friend and I had fun fooling around with my new studio lights one late night…New toys! Yea!

Hey, the window’s broken in the basement and we need to cover it up with something. What should we use? Oh wait, I’ve got the perfect thing…This creepy photo of a red-headed doll. Problem solved!

Taken in 2006. This lot has since been leveled to make way for some new construction. The neon letters in the factory window were part of an art installation which read: “It is green thinks nature even in the dark”.

Taken Thanksgiving weekend at the top of Bear Mountain in NY State. I got the sense of being out West up here…

I can’t wait to go back someday (hopefully soon). Hawaii is another world. Everywhere you turn there’s something to photograph. This photo was taken of a hula dance being performed near a crater in Volcanoes Nat’l Park on the big island.

This one was taken at the Seaside Heights pier over the Summer. The swings are cool, but the Wild Mouse ride is a little shady. To be more exact, rusty and not as full of bolts as it should be.

This was taken while the set up was starting for a Pershing Field carnival in JC Heights. Mmmm…cotton candy and rubber frogs.

Take a walk around the old reservoir in the Heights some Saturday afternoon. Not in use as a proper reservoir any longer, this preserved piece of history provides an urban oasis where you can replace concrete with wildlife (yes, birds, fish and butterflies!) for a brief while.

Monkey Gazing

Another shot from my visit to the Bronx Zoo. This monkey was getting his fur cleaned by the monkey in the background. I think he was going through a list of errands in his head. Wash bed sheets, sweep cage, clean swinging vines…
